Writer's Workshop Wednesday.

Today is Thursday so MamaKat is asking for us to turn in our homework!

Dear Santa,

Photobucket

My list is short and sweet if I could just have this one small thing I think my life would be complete.....A Housekeeper! I cannot possibly keep up with my daughter who only has one speed FAST, and the amount of dog hair that sheds from my 70lb black lab every second of every day! Plus, I admit, I would much rather read a book with Tay or watch Gossip Girls, Californication, Amazing Race, 90210, or Prison Break than scrub the shower!

Also, if you can find it in you to give me some tips on how to bring a 2 year old to the mall. Yes, my child is that child. You know the one that is running through all of the stores at full speed, laughing like it is the most fun they have had EVER! She refuses to sit in the stroller, hold hands with mom or dad, or let us carry her. I apologize to everyone who was at Lakeside Sunday. It was us!
Thank you! See ya next year!

Thanks for caring,
K

I may just have copy your letter to Santa regarding the housekeeper. My GOSH that would be the best thing ever. Seriously. I think if I had a ton of money, that would be an investment I'd NEVER regret.

Thanks for stopping by my blog!

Oh oh oh! I hope you get your wish!

(And while I can't relate to the 2-year-old on perma-hyper mode, I can totally relate to the pet hair. Seriously, when did a short-haired cat and an 8-pound dog shed so much in winter?!? Gah!)

I love your letter! I asked for elves... to clean my house. And I'm sorry to hear your child is "that" child. My brother was, too. I remember being in the mall when I was 15 and he was about 2. He was SCREAMING bloody murder, running around, pushing into people.. and my MOTHER walked hurridly past me, turning around and yelling, "Do something with your child woman!" So then everyone shopping thought the hellion child was mine.
Thanks Mom.
